Hey, I've finished early! Good on me. In the meantine, I hated this movie with a passion, so I was motivated to finish it.
Daredevil
Douchebag by the DeedAnd for those curious on my next projects, here's my current list, though I'm not necessarily doing them in this order:
Batman Returns
Blade
Superman
Transformers (1986)
Transformers (2007)
X-Men 2
And hey! I'm open to requests, providing it interests me and I already have it in my library.

It's my favorite TV episode of all time! What's more to say?
Oh, and the next recap will be up around 10/24.
Nowhere Man: The Spider Webb
My Favorite TV Episode of All Time10/05/07
I've spent all week distracted by trying to get better TV reception, hence the delay in the newest recap getting up. I've realized that one of my failings as a writer is that I tend to divert from making fun of something to being outright mean. To test myself at being able to do "nice" mockery, I've decided for my next recap I'm doing my favorite TV-episode of all time. Does it have problems:? Sure. But there's nothing in there that I actually HATE, and it may help me grow as a writer and come up with commentary that isn't quite so vicious. Saying that, I'm not really fond (read: I hate) the current Doctor Who TV series, and whining about it kind of interfered with the flow of the latest recap. So, be forewarned.

Apologies for the delay. I was going to get this up on Sunday, except some health issues combined with my car ignition temporarily breaking delayed me. The next one SHOULD be up on the 30th.

Admittedly, I've been infrequent about updating the site, so from now on I'm going to stick to a bi-weekly update. So the next recap will be up on the 16th. I'm looking into setting up a mailing list to notify people when recaps are up in the future.

Update:
1) The receptionist screwed up on the quote. Everything (spaying, rabies, surgery, etc) totalled up to $650, not $800 like I was told originally
2) I've gotten $350 in donations in the last two days
3) Just $300 to go, and I'll have enough to cover all the costs!
4) I've paid the first half, thanks to the donations, and have until the 15th of next month to give the rest
Thanks for everyone's help so far, but please, keep donating! Spread the word to other message boards or friends or family! I will keep this webpage on what I've received.

Here are some post-operation pictures! (Note: direct links are available beneath the pictures, if you want to post links on websites/forums instead of sending them to this page)

Important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10:22PM - Update: The vet's been kind enough to drop the amputation cost down to a max of $623. I have another $180 for miscellanious stuff (shots, feline leukemia/AIDS test, distemper shot, etc), so It's still essentially a net of $800. BUT!!!! Due to the kindess of strangers, I've gotten $300 in donations, but still need as much help as possible with the remaining $500. Please keep donating to help me take care of this little girl!
I've had lots of stray cats come by my porch, and I've gotten 2 fixed, kept 2, adopting out 1, and trying to tame 1. I found a 2 month cat on my porch tonight. She is one of the most affectionate, adorable cats ever. She's the first to not only let me approach, but he's been all over me for attention and even let me pick her up.
I have to really really really really REALLY beg:
Her tail's messed. I mean, MESSED. UP. It looks like part of it's been severed, and the rest is a solid mass of scabs. She's also had a bunch of pus leaking out, and according to the doctor, her tail has to go. Not including the costs for the basic office visit and Rabies...
it's about $500-$800 for the amputation.
If some of you are willing, PLEASE contribute to help this little cat out. They said that with testing and all, they probably couldn't do it until tomorrow at the earliest anyway, but I like to think fate brought her to my doorstep with a super-friendly personality to get her fixed.
I've got a paypal button at awasteoffilm.com PLEASE contribute to help me save this little cats life. To the paranoid, my website is ad driven and DOES NOT sell any merchandise whatsoever.
If anyone knows a Vet that will offer reduced or free services in the Charlotte, NC area for stray/abandoned/feral cats, I would appreciate it.

Okay, I'vr uploaded the Spider-Man III as a "summer special." What this means is that I cover a movie that's still in theater during the summer, usually whatever's hot at the time, like last year's Superman Returns. But with the exception of this once in a while "special"s, I'm sticking to my usual DVD collection. Enjoy!
The site is now "unofficially" open. I need to finish adding in some links to several of the recaps, but they are done. V for Vendetta isn't quite ready yet, but due to some tendonitis, I need to take a break from doing, well, anything computer related until I heal up. In the meantime, enjoy.
